I'm continuing my project on Main Street. Although two of these are on Park Avenue. The first one I'm really trying to capture emotion. The second one is a continuation of my bus stop focus, and also reflects the street corner idea where people are so close to each other yet in such different worlds. This last one I'm playing with new angles. I kept people in the picture, so its not just about signs or buildings or stores, but I'm trying new ways of capturing people.
I really like the milk sign in the last one, haha. And you're right, it is a new way of capturing people. I think I would prefer it if the red sign for coffee/muffins wasn't in it though. But there's not much you can really do about that because I definitely don't think cropping it would work. I just don't like how the sign is cut off in an odd place I think. I'm not really sure. It's very distracting, I didn't even notice the people at all at first. And if that's what you're trying to focus on...ehhh. I don't know.
ReplyDeleteI really like the background of the bus stop one though. Because there's some reflection but we're still able to see what is actually behind the glass too. It's very cool.
And like everyone was saying in class - I think you're being too hard on yourself. You're doing great! I hope you find your inspiration :)
